When the airbag inflates, it rips open the special tear seam to ensure your safety at all times. This is suitable for all vehicles with or without standard integrated side airbags.

All Seat Covers on our website have been tested for safe deployment if the air bag in the original car seat was to deploy. Special computerised sewing machines with hi-tech sewing threads are used to sew the seam at just the correct tension so that when and if your car seat opens and the Air Bag deploys the seat covers available from us opens up where this special side airbag approved stitching has been applied within a millisecond. The speed at which the stitching opens is such that the car seat cover airbag is not impeded or slowed down to where the air bag does not function in the manner it was designed.
