The RM Williams brand has had a long history in Australia. Pioneered and founded by Reginald Murray Williams, born in rural North Belalie, South Australia in 1908.
 
RM Williams was established in 1932, having learnt leather making skills from a passing horseman known as Dollar mick. RM Williams then involved himself  in producing leather goods. 
 
In 1980 RM Williams was quoted, “If you make something good, people will make a track to your door. We made simple things that people wanted and kept them simple.”
 
In 2003 RM Williams passes away at the age of 95. He was honored by a state funeral and left behind an incredible legacy.

R.M. Williams – Floor mats
